A French mobile IP address, hosted in Lyon
Our phones run on our own SIM lines inside an always-on rack. You rent their 4G/5G egress: the traffic you send leaves over the French mobile network, not from a foreign datacenter.
Why the origin of the IP changes everything
When you visit a site from a server, your address belongs to a range declared as hosting. Application firewalls, ad platforms and anti-bot systems recognise it instantly and apply stricter rules: CAPTCHA, verification pages, degraded responses, outright blocks. A mobile address belongs to a carrier and is shared dynamically between thousands of subscribers. It looks like any other smartphone address, simply because it is one.
It is the same principle as carrier CGNAT: several users behind an address that moves. Nothing like a fixed-line residential IP, which is often tied to an identifiable household. For French audiences, the combination of a mobile carrier, French geolocation and natural rotation is the one that gets through most often.
How our infrastructure is organised
This architecture guarantees one important thing: one gigabyte consumed on our side equals one gigabyte of real carrier data. We have no interest in making you burn traffic for nothing, and no interest in lying about throughput.
- The phones. Refurbished Android devices, no root, running an app that opens an outbound tunnel to our gateway. Wi-Fi only carries the tunnel: DNS resolution and outbound traffic go through the SIM card.
- The gateway. On a dedicated server in France, it exposes an HTTP and SOCKS5 front per subscription, enforces quotas and triggers rotations.
- The control plane. On Cloudflare: authentication, subscriptions, billing, quotas and the dashboard. This is what you use when you sign in to the customer portal.
Shared or dedicated: two uses, two plans
The shared access (B2C). Several subscribers use a pool of phones. The IP rotates automatically every 5 to 20 minutes depending on the plan, simultaneous connections are capped and volume is counted on your account. This is the right plan for automated browsing, monitoring, ad testing and small scrapers: a French mobile IP for a few euros.
The dedicated phone (Pro). An entire phone is reserved for you, with a higher stream cap, your choice of IP and rotation on demand. This is the plan for teams that industrialise: high-volume scraping, multi-account management, multi-city ad verification and client integrations. See the agency and API plans for multi-line needs.
What you receive exactly
- A host (proxy.proxymobile.fr, for example), an HTTP port and a SOCKS5 port.
- Dedicated credentials, regenerable in one click.
- A real-time volume counter and 30 days of consumption history.
- A rotate button and a log of every rotation performed.
- Configuration examples: curl, environment variables, socks5h.
Compliance and acceptable use
We sell network access, not anonymity. Using the service for spam, fraud, cyberattacks, scraping personal data or any activity that is illegal in France is prohibited. Our terms state this explicitly and we suspend accounts that break the rules. In return, we never resell browsing data and we keep only what the service needs to operate (see our privacy policy).
Questions fréquentes
Are your IPs really French?
Yes. The phones and SIM cards are in France on the Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom and Free networks. The public address is assigned by the mobile carrier, and geolocation databases place it in France with a French mobile operator.
Can I choose the carrier or the city?
On shared plans the allocation follows the available pool. On dedicated Pro plans the carrier of the line is known at purchase and you can request a specific pool, such as 5G on Orange.
Is the IP static?
No, and that is deliberate: a permanently static mobile IP barely exists with French carriers. Rotation is automatic on shared plans and on demand on dedicated ones.
What is the real throughput?
It depends on the line and the load: between 20 and 120 Mbit/s depending on the phone and coverage. We do not artificially cap throughput; the only contractual limit is the monthly volume.
